About Me
Hi, I’m Cindie Stevens (on the right) — a financial coach with a background in data, decision-making, and real-life money lessons.
For over 30 years, I worked as a consultant in corporate IT, helping companies manage vast amounts of data and transform it into smart, strategic decisions. Now, I use that same skill set to help individuals and families make sense of their most important data — their finances.
I help people take control of their money through budgeting, goal-setting, and building personalized “Money Plans” that actually work. Whether you're trying to break free from debt, build up savings, or just want to feel more confident making financial choices — I’ve been there, and I’m here to help.
My journey with money wasn’t always smooth. I grew up in a family that didn’t talk much about finances. We had what we needed, but we never really discussed how money worked. As a young adult, I followed that same pattern — working hard, paying rent, spending what was left, and thinking that was normal.
Then came adulthood, marriage, and the big surprise: credit. Like many people, we used credit to buy what we “needed” — furniture, a car, appliances. We were smart, hard-working professionals... and yet, we found ourselves deep in debt. Our income was solid, but we were living paycheck to paycheck, like so many others.
Eventually, we got tired of the cycle. I dove into personal finance books like they were bestsellers, shared what I learned with my husband, and we started making changes. One big turning point for us was going through Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. While I don’t agree with everything he teaches, I do believe that being debt-free is a game-changer — and by 2017, we were. Mortgage and all.
But life had one more lesson in store.
At 49, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was early, and my treatment went as well as anyone could hope. But the real surprise? Financially, we didn’t feel the impact. Even as the primary income earner, I was able to take time off to heal, and we were okay. No panic. No scrambling. No debt spiral.
That’s the power of having a plan. That’s the freedom that comes with financial stability.
And now, that’s what I want to help you achieve. Because financial success isn’t just about numbers — it’s about creating a life where you’re prepared for whatever comes your way.
